Check out this year’s Venice Shorts of California winners
The Venice Shorts competition has been one of the best places to find fresh indie talent across all genres of filmmaking. As an IMDB-qualifying festival, so many filmmakers, from pros to newbies, bring their fresh work to the festival for competition. Just as diverse as Hollywood’s history with Venice Beach, the Venice Shorts competition brings out the best from all over the globe.
As a monthly festival, winners will get their work screened through the LA Independent Film Channel, and are up to win 24 different prizes in the annual Venice Shorts competition. This month’s winners were just announced, so you can see the full list below. If you want to see your name on this list in the future, submit your work to the Venice Shorts’s FilmFreeway page.
