Has Dog the Bounty Hunter found evidence of Brian Laundrie’s location?
Much of the world has been glued to the media circus that is the hunt for Brian Laundrie, who was dating Gabby Petito before her disappearance a month ago today. Sadly, Gabby Petito was tragically found dead, and many nationwide are on the hunt for Brian Laundrie, the prime suspect who’s right now on the run in what many suspect to be Florida. Unfortunately, the results haven’t been what we have wanted them to be.
Too bad for Brian Laundie, Dog the Bounty Hunter is on the case, putting together clues and following leads in what he hopes will end up in the capture of Laundrie so that the full story as to what happened to Gabby Petito can be solved. Dog is on the prowl, and we would imagine that time may be running out for Brian Laundrie.
Gabby Petito tragedy
It has officially been one month since twenty-two year old Gabby potato was first reported missing, only to tragically be found dead soon after in an act of violence that’s as sad as it is angering. The primary suspect is that of her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, who was famously seen during a shared police interaction when both he and Gabby Petito were pulled over after a concerned citizen saw the pair fighting.
The caller reported to the police that they had seen Laundrie slap Petitio, forcing the police to investigate the situation for themselves, recording every second of it via body cams. In the video, we see and hear the police address the physical damage to both Petitio and Laundrie, with Petitio crying and clearly in some sort of distress. Sadly, the police struggled to see the signs and ultimately let the pair go about their day.
Petito’s body was found shortly after the incident on September 21st, 2021, with it being confirmed as Gabby’s body a few days later. Now, with Brian Laundrie as the primary suspect, a nationwide manhunt was officially launched in Florida, where Brian is suspected to still be as the media keeps tabs on his family’s home, thanks to the supportive and business savvy neighbors who seek answers like the rest of the world.
The hunt is on
Nearly a month of searching for Brian Laundrie, and still police in Florida say there are no signs of the missing boyfriend. The search is centered at the Carlton Nature Reserve near his home in North Port, where Laundrie’s parents believe he went before disappearing. As the search for Gabby Petito’s fiancé approaches its fourth week, no police activity was visible Friday at the 25,000-acre nature reserve.
New details emerged about the period after Laundrie returned home from a cross-country trip in Petito’s white van, without Petito, on Sept 1st and before he left his parents’ home on Sept 13th. Petito’s family refers to Laundrie as the “missing piece to the puzzle” regarding what really happened to their daughter, while Laundrie’s family are just hoping that their son is still alive.
Of course, many close to the case have claimed that, if Brian Laundrie is truly hiding in this nature reserve that he’s surviving “hell on earth”, given the dangerous wildlife that lurks amongst those acres. Equally, Laundrie’s case became so nationwide that even former reality star Dog the bounty hunter joined the search, even recently finding a campsite that he believes to have been Laundrie’s.
Duane “Dog” Chapman, who has been working to confirm a tip about a recent Laundrie sighting near the Appalachian Trail, handed over some items found on one of the islands near Fort De Soto Park, according to his publicist.“Tracking a fugitive is a marathon, not a sprint,” Dog said. “We are continuing to search for Brian Laundrie. The longer he is on the run, the more dangerous this becomes.”
