Yeezy Day: What’s in store for Kanye West’s upcoming releases?
Kanye West is clearly slammed as he prepares to release his album Donda this week. The project is slated to come out on Friday, August 6th, and fans are excited to hear what the artist has in store for those tolerable of Yeezy’s antics. Of course, there is always a possibility that the album gets delayed once more, although, at this point, it seems likely that we will get the album sooner rather than later given his recent preview.
Last week, Kanye West held a special Donda preview at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the ATL, where hundreds of guests including his ex-wife Ki Kardashian were in attendance to listen to a slate of Yeezy’s upcoming releases, with the rapper once again sporting his large read getup and seemingly a pair of pantyhose around his face. It’s clear that Yeezy cares about his music to an obsessive degree. But what about his shoes?
As for Kanye’s business ventures, his Yeezy shoe brand is performing extremely well this year and his shoes are still at the top of sneaker culture. There is no slowing down the momentum, and to celebrate Yeezys success, Kanye West is celebrating August 2nd as Yeezy Day. 2021 Yeezy Day
Yeezy Day actually started bright & early this morning, and with it came three sneaker drops in the Yeezy Foam Runner MX Cream Clay, the Adidas Yeezy 700 V3 Azael, and the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Tail Light. Since that time, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Mauve” and the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Synth” have also been released. As well, the infamous 350 V2 “Zebra” also dropped. Ugly shoes for all!
The shoes are being released on a multitude of platforms including Yeezy Supply, Yeezy.com, and Adidas confirmed. Each sneaker is going to be extremely limited, so you’re going to have to watch closely like a ticket drop for a Drake concert. Of course, this is only the second official Yeezy Day where Yeezy, or Kanye, showcases his upcoming releases, as it was canceled in 2020 due to the global pandemic.
A duel marketing strategy for both West’s album and shoe line should help generate hype from all audiences, as proven by followers of the Yeezy Mafia on Twitter, because let’s face it, getting your hands or feet on a pair of Yeezy upcoming releases is like getting tickets to a Frank Sinatra concert in 2021, because, you know, he’s dead. Kanye & Irina
It was reported over a month ago that Kanye West & Irina Shayk were spending time together in early June in Provence, France. The couple, who were reportedly staying at a 600-acre boutique, were seen taking snaps of one another like a senior year couple before prom.
Irina Shayk, who had previously been seeing actor & director Bradley Cooper for four years before their break-up in 2019, has had many infamous boyfriends in the past prior to Cooper, including the likes of soccer phenom Cristiano Ronaldo, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Linkin Park drummer Rob Bourdon.
Irina Shayk has one daughter with Bradley Cooper, while Kanye West has four different children with Kim Kardashian, and while it is unclear if these two families will one day form one super union, it is obvious that both Kanye West & Irina Shayk are falling in love for one another very fast, given their multiple outing in NYC amidst the Yeezy’s upcoming releases in terms of shoes & music.
