Rumors: Is Lizzo pregnant and is Chris Evans really the father?
Currently, there’s one pair of celebrities that we are all lowkey shipping and wishing that they would just give this dating thing a chance already. Because, well, based on their social media interactions, they may actually be the couple of our dreams. We are, of course, talking about Lizzo & Chris Evans. Look, it all started because Lizzo shoot her shot and now here we are.
We’re invested in them now. Lizzo drunkenly slid into Chris Evans DM’s like the queen that she is. And they’ve been DM-ing ever since Chris Evans got back to her. Lizzo, girl, snatch the crown and get America’s Ass for yourself. We salute you and support you in perhaps the highest endeavor possible. Either way, the two are still having fun, including making up rumors that Lizzo is pregnant.
Spoiler alert: Lizzo is not pregnant with Chris Evans’ child. Can’t y’all take a joke on social media? But, you know, people are shipping them more than ever. Let’s start a rumor!
As many things do these days, it started on TikTok. Sure, we’re all celebrating the 10th anniversary of the release of Captain America: The First Avenger, might as well start it with a rumor. Lizzo dropped “the big news” while music from the film played over top because when ya girl commits. She commits hard. Ah, Lizzo, we love you so, so, so much.
“This is something that I’ve been really trying to keep personal and private between me and the father of my child, but since we’re airing out all the rumors today, I’ve been sucking in. We’re gonna have a little America,” Lizzo said in the video. A couple of days later, she then posted a follow-up video where she revealed that she has told the father about the baby.
She posted a pic of Evans’ response in her DMs, “Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joy my mother will be so happy lol.” She captioned it with, “”OMG YALL — HE SAW THE BABY BUMP! WE DID IT! NOW YALL GOTTA NAME LIL MERICA!!!!! WHAT YALL BOUTA NAME MY BABY ?!”

Apparently, Lizzo & Chris Evans have been keeping up with each other on DMs. As for normal mortals, you do some flirty texting and then go on the date. So it’s really about time that Lizzo & Chris Evans get with the program and maybe hang out IRL. Granted, COVID is still a thing. But that’s what virtual dates are for if you don’t feel comfortable being that close to another person.
She is also carrying his imaginary baby. Lil America needs their daddy in their imaginary life. Again, we’re just saying. Of course, Lizzo & Chris Evans’ friendship just brings us unending joy. Maybe in her next music video, we can get this famous Chris to appear as her love interest or something?
