In celebration of World Cocktail Day (which is a fantastic day to celebrate), we offer an amazing prize for those who can solve our brainteaser.
Why should we love cocktails?
Like any good chef who loves meddling with the different taste sensations, mixers of cocktails are connoisseurs. Cocktails come from all corners of the world and the first cocktail was thought to have been mixed in 1737 by monks – who were looking to find some spirit in the mountains of France and Sicily.
However, the invention called “cocktail” was an American invention and now there are roles for mixologists who are helping to continue our love affair with melting pot of tastes. So, in celebration of the global phenomena of spirit mixing, we will celebrate on World Cocktail Day.
On May 13th, the people of the world will mix the drink of their dreams and raise a glass – and you will be puzzling out the brain teaser that is our iconic movie cocktail competition! Win and you could be enjoying your next outdoor movie experience from the comfort of a luxury swing seat.
What do you have to do?
There are a series of visual clues to be solved. Each image will offer hints at a movie and a drink. Puzzle it out by piecing together the puzzle and naming the cocktail and the film on show. With 10 images to solve, there will be plenty of fun to be had coming up with your answers.
Submitting your answers could not be easier. Put your answers in the contact form on the competition page, making sure you put a new answer on a new line. Start each line with the number of the image, from one to ten, making sure you include both the cocktail name and the movie name. The deadline date is the end of May and any forms received after this date will not be accepted.
