Netflix: Jen and Judy are polar opposites, but they develop an unlikely bond after Jen’s husband is tragically killed in a shocking car collision. The new dark comedy stars Christina Applegate (Bad Moms) and Linda Cardellini (A Simple Favor) as an uptight widower and a free spirit with a shocking secret. This potentially gripping black comedy is a great sign for the comeback careers of two brilliant comic actors, and it looks like it’ll keep us on its toes with some bleak twists and turns. Co-stars James Marsden and the great Edward Asner, the series has been developed by lesbian icon Liz Feldman, with executive producing duties from comedy giants Will Ferrell and Adam McKay (Anchorman).
